On top of being a college student I am also a mother. As it is nearing Christmas my two and a half year old makes crafts for her grandparents and daddy. This year we decided to make candles! She had a blast and it was super easy! All of our supplies came fom the wonderful Hobby Lobby. (the greatest store ever invented!)
I also work part-time (not even that...about ten hours a week)
Trying to find the balance can become quite tricky. After my LO was in the NICU for a while (I'll get to that part another time) my life revolved around seeing my princess and her day to day battles to grow and come home. My time was spent only doing one thing...watching my daughter survive:)

Schedule, schedule, schedule! I am very passionate about becoming a teacher and I am also very passionate about being a mother. Sometimes I feel I haven't given my LO enough attention for the week and I feel miserable. Then the next week comes and I spend all the time I can with her. Therefore, I have not given my studies near enough attention! This article helps to zoom in and focus on what your priorities are and how to find equal balance. (of course it won't always be perfect!)
Anyways, back to the books!:)
